5th-6th Grade Cotillion

  • Etiquette

Learning manners can be fun! Our 5th-6th grade etiquette training teaches ladies and gentlemen basic manners, introductions, handshakes, thank you notes, RSVP’s, conversation skills, social media etiquette, telephone manners, escorting, basic dance steps, how to be a well-mannered guest, refreshment line manners and more! We incorporate fun, age appropriate lessons and challenges to make sure the students enjoy classes. Classes are held in Foley, AL.

  • Fun

We combine games and activities that make learning fun. Students enjoy meeting new friends and gaining confidence each week until the final event of the season, The Christmas Cotillion. The students practice for this event and are eager to dress up and show off all the skills they have learned in classes at this formal event.

  • DRESS CODE

Cotillion classes are dress up affairs. Ladies are required to wear modest dresses and closed toe shoes. Gentlemen wear navy blue sportscoats, button down shirts and ties, khaki pant and dress shoes to each class. The Christmas Cotillion is a semi formal event where young ladies wear holiday dresses and gentlemen wear suits, sport coats and Christmas themed or red ties.

Students are not allowed to wear flip flops, boots, black or dark colored tights, or tennis shoes.

GLOVES: Short, white gloves are a tradition in cotillion classes. We provide gloves for each young lady to wear during class and at the ball.
